In Kyrgyzstan this day is commemorated as ‘Men’s day.’
It is a day in which we think about the valuable role of men around us and thank them for what they do.
For commemoration, music class students at Global Hope Bishkek Culture Center had an opportunity to show their talent which they’ve polished throughout winter vacation.
The performance was held at their school classroom 88.
Before the performance, each student took a turn to express their thankfulness toward men.
After that, children started to play ‘Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star’ with recorders, triangles, and castanets using their small hands.
On this day, the concert was held in two classrooms. Children seemed rather nervous when they were playing in the first classroom. However, as they got a round of applause after their first performance, they were able to gain confidence. We were able to see how confident they were as they moved to the second classroom for another performance.
In the classroom, there were not only students and teachers but also student’s parents as well. They never lost their smile throughout the performance. Thechildren became a professional music band with the experience of performing multiple concerts.
In the near future, children will have an opportunity to learn more various and advanced music.
Shall we be able to expect the beautiful harmony of a choir next time?
Please give attention and support to our children so that they can sing and play instruments more enthusiastically. The harmony of our children is echoed throughout Kyrgyzstan even today!
Sharing Hope Together!
