Children in Immanuel home had spring break after their final exam.
Since they studied hard for last semester, we decided to give them a trip to Pokhara, a very famous tourist site of Nepal, where they see on their text book.
On the first day, we borrowed two big boats with pedals and drove around the Phewa lake. Staffs gathered together and had great fun doing boat race by pedaling them or shaking hands each other after going close to the other boats.
On the second day, we toured caves, water fall and river. Cool air could be felt in the cave that was naturally formed. Children watched a bat hanging from a ceiling of the cave with curiosity and a little fear.
On the third day, we woke up early to admire sunrise at Sarankot that is well-known as beautiful sunrise. We arrived little bit early so we had to wait a while at the top of Sarankot.
By the way we could not see that the sun first appears on the horizon because it was cloudy. But on the way to parking lot we were fortunately able to take a short look at the rising red sun between the clouds.
Children finished three days journey with sleeping in return bus.
Children in Immanuel Home would never forget this trip to Pokhara. We thought they could prepare a new next semester well with this good memory.
