Today is the day elder girls put on heavy makeup to become more beautiful and help their younger sisters adorn themselves. Above all, it is the day on which they wear the most colorful clothes in the world.
On June 3, the Central Asian International Dance Contest called 'Third Asian Olympic Games' was held in the Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. Having learned the Kyrgyz traditional dance with the support of the HOPELINE project, the children of Karakol Orphanage have been invited to this event to show off their dancing skills.
On this day in Bishkek, about 1,000 dancers from all over Central Asia, including Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan, boasted their own unique dance skills. In this keen competition of the dancers, two teams among our girls and boys from the Karakol Orphanage won 2nd place. Don’t you want to see the lively dance of these children? They now have the higher chance to get invited to the next contest as they made a good performance this time. And they might get invited to a great event.
Please send more attention to our Karakol children so that they can continue to learn dancing and realize their dreams. These children who have been always working so hard are our hope.
