Global Hope's Citi-Kyung Hee Intern and WFK Overseas Volunteer Corps members became the children's daily science teachers at TWOFMCIS, Itaewon. What are these materials that we see on the desk? They are materials that were used to create the “liquid monster” that had recently won the hearts of many Korean children.
The children learned the secrets behind how a liquid monster is created and they could not take their eyes off the monster that was gradually becoming bigger and bigger! The children decorated their own liquid monsters with beads and glitters along with decorating boxes using stickers. Thanks to the children’s active participation, the class ended successfully!
After the kindergarten and elementary classes ended, flower bouquets that had been donated by FLRY—which spreads the value of sharing and empathy through flowers, were made and distributed to the children. The children’s faces blossomed more beautifully than the flowers upon receiving them. Some of the flowers were placed in various locations of the school. We hope that the beautiful flowers and their fragrance will invigorate the lives of the children and their school experience.
That day, the children at TWOFMCIS were filled with delight by the fun science class and flowers. We hope for your continuous love and interest so that the children will have an enjoyable school life.
Please give hope to these children whose eyes are sparkling with curiosity and life. Continue to support their positively and health!
