Philippine Vocational Training ‘Sharing and Dreaming’ Education starts
The vocational training education of ‘The Vocational Training to Develop Professional Skills for Low-Income Local Residents’ which is supported by oversea project “2019 Sharing and Dreaming” has started after the opening ceremony held in last May. The Sharing and Dreaming project proceeds with the support from Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. and Community Chest of Korea and aims at providing opportunities for low-income residents to create income.
Training education of barista, manufacturing of natural soap, and EM skill education has already started, and education of bakery and massage will start in August. Can you imagine the barista education field?
The barista trainee group which is specially consisted of local young people participated eagerly even in the first class which was theoretical class. The lecturer told us that he could teach the class for a whole day without becoming tired thanks to the trainees’ active participation.
The trainees experienced the roasting activity of green beans for themselves. While they were roasting green beans, delectable smell spread out everywhere. Some trainees roasted green beans so long that the beans were burnt, but they tried to do it repeatedly and made good colored coffee beans.
The trainees tried to make their own hand-drip coffee with coffee beans that they roasted for themselves. Now, let’s see the natural soap manufacturing field. The trainees participated in education with focus from start to finish following the process of manufacturing soap writing down the contents of lecture one by one without missing anything.
Next is EM education. After learning the method to make EM solution, they proceed poultry farming education applying EM usage. If we operate poultry farms using EM, we can reduce specific bad smell of poultry farms and chicken can grow healthy, which helps them lay good quality eggs. We hope the residents dream better life through vocational education.
Sharing Hope Together!
